Our Future

By Red Horse Strategies | January 12, 2022

Friends —

2021 was a historic year. From helping elect Eric Adams, to guaranteeing airport workers get healthcare by making sure the Healthy Terminals Act became law in New York and New Jersey, to helping Ady Barkan’s Be A Hero fight for better healthcare for every American, we’re incredibly proud of the work our team did to deliver progressive wins for our clients and build a better future for millions of working families across the country.

As we head into 2022 and a challenging midterm environment, we’re growing our team to make sure we can continue to provide the kind of hands-on dedication that our clients expect and deserve.

We’re incredibly excited that Katie Moore, who previously managed Eric Adams’ mayoral campaign and was Political Director at the NY Hotel Trades Council, will be joining Red Horse as a full partner. Her experience and history with both organized labor and national progressive advocates and movements will give added depth to our campaign and independent expenditure work.

After expanding to DC and driving successful campaigns to deliver billions in state funding for education and health care, we’re looking forward to growing our public affairs and issue advocacy work. Michael DeLoach, who is currently Deputy Commissioner at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, will be joining us in February to help lead this growth as President of our Public Affairs and Issue Advocacy Division.

Additionally, Ryan Rudominer will be joining our DC office as Deputy DC Director and Matt Rey, RHS’s first hire in 2010, has been elevated to full partner. Aaron Hecht has been promoted to President and Managing Director, Campaigns Division; Chris Fleming has been promoted to Managing Director, Washington, DC & Senior Vice President, Advocacy and Media Affairs; Rich Orsillo has been promoted to Senior Vice President; and Meredith Korda has been promoted to Vice President.

The next year will be full of tough fights as we defend Democratic majorities — and our democracy — from right-wing extremists. Our team is ready to meet this moment.

Stay healthy,

Red Horse Strategies
