NY cancer survivors sound alarm on threats to health care access during annual Cancer Action Day (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
Over 150 patient advocates from across New York were at the Capitol in Albany today for Cancer Action Day. They utilized the annual advocacy day to press lawmakers on a controversial proposal to limit Medicaid enrollees’ access to biomarker testing, a key resource in the treatment of diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, mental illness and more.
