Ad is Part of $1.2 million Media Buy, Airing on Broadcast and Cable Networks Starting Today
NEW YORK – The independent group Strong Leadership NYC released its first television ad today called “Perspective,” which highlights mayoral candidate Eric Adams’ record fighting for justice and public safety. The ad, which is part of a $1.2 million media buy, is airing on broadcast and cable networks across New York City starting today.
“New York City’s comeback starts with Eric Adams as mayor,” said Jenny Sedlis, President of Strong Leadership NYC. “Eric understands that fighting for justice and public safety go hand in hand – and he has the record to prove it. As mayor, he’ll make our streets safer, fight the scourge of illegal guns, and deliver real police reform so we can get the city back on track.”

EA: I have a different perspective from everyone else that is running for mayor. I was assaulted badly by police officers and I was encouraged after that to go in and fight for reform inside.
VO: As mayor, Eric Adams will take on violent crime and deliver on overdue police reform.
EA: We can have justice and public safety at the same time. We can fix this and come back stronger and better. And that’s the type of leadership I’m going to bring [to] the city of New York.
