NEW: Hochul Campaign Launches First Digital Ad, “A Mom From Buffalo”
Narrator: “She’s a mom from Buffalo, and it doesn’t get much tougher than that.”
On Monday morning at 7am, the Hochul campaign will launch its first ad of the cycle – a digital ad titled “A Mom From Buffalo.”
The ad, which will run across Meta’s platforms, is the campaign’s first of the cycle, reintroducing the Governor and her blue-collar roots to voters who are still learning her personal story ahead of next year’s election.
The ad opens: She doesn’t come from money, and she’s not just our governor. She’s a mom from Buffalo. And it doesn’t get much tougher than that.
The ad features high-profile moments of the last 6 months:
- The Governor daring Tom Homan to arrest her at this summer’s congressional hearing: “If Tom Homan comes to Albany to arrest me, I’ll say: Go for it.”
- Saying of Brad Lander’s arrest by ICE: “Want to know what I really think? It’s bullshit.”
- Her recent Fox News interview, where she directly responded to attacks from Republicans on Democrats’ redistricting fight: “New Yorkers stand up for our rights. We’re fighters. I guess they’re not used to taking on a mom from Buffalo”
