Mary E. Sullivan reelected as CSEA Statewide President
Union leader voted in for second full four-year term beginning March 1, 2024
ALBANY, N.Y. (February 16, 2024) – CSEA (Civil Service Employees Association), one of the largest labor unions in New York State, announced that current President Mary E. Sullivan has been reelected as CSEA President.
In a voting process overseen by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), ballots submitted by CSEA members were counted on February 15, 2024 at the AAA Manhattan offices.
Sullivan’s next four-year term begins effective March 1, 2024 and will continue through Feb. 29, 2028.
“I am honored that the members of CSEA have placed their trust in me for another term as President,” said Sullivan. “It is no small responsibility. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and assurance that I will continue to lead this great union as we all move forward together.”
Additionally, elections were held for the following CSEA statewide positions spanning the same four-year term as CSEA President. Those included with Sullivan’s successful slate include:
Executive Vice President: Ron Briggs
Statewide Secretary: Richard Bebo
Statewide Treasurer: Nicole Meeks
