James Martin Joins Bamberger & Vlasto As Managing Director
New York, NY — Today, Bamberger & Vlasto, a leading global public affairs and strategic communications firm, announced James Martin will be joining the firm as Managing Director. Martin brings a wealth of communications experience from his work in politics, including Harris for President, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and as Press Secretary for Congressman Josh Gottheimer.
Most recently, Martin served as Arizona Rapid Response Director for the Harris-Walz campaign during the 2024 presidential election cycle, where he played a pivotal role in crafting and deploying communications strategies for the Harris-Walz presidential ticket, the Arizona Democratic Party, and the Democratic National Committee.
Previously, Martin served in communications roles for New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer, Governor Kathy Hochul, the Democratic Governors Association, and the New York State Democratic Party. His on-the-record work included driving earned and paid media campaigns, developing complex messaging strategies, and building robust coalitions to amplify key initiatives at every level of government.
In addition to his political experience, Martin has advised Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, and financial technology firms in crisis communications, complex litigation, and regulatory policy, allowing him to deliver tailored and effective solutions to clients navigating difficult environments.
