Yesterday (Friday, November 6), Google Chrome and Firefox web browser users received a red warning message saying that Empire Report contained malware.
Our programmers took immediate action and deleted the files in question from our site.
The security of our page and protecting our loyal readers is our top priority. It’s important to remember we do not collect personal information from readers (except email addresses, which are stored on a separate mailchimp server). As we are a completely free-to-use site, Empire Report does not collect or store credit card numbers, mailing addresses, phone numbers, names, or other personal information for our readers.
The problem was solved immediately, but for Google Chome to remove their warning, we must go through an approval process that may take a few days to rectify.
To ensure that ALL readers have uninterrupted access to Empire Report, we have created the temporary website https://empirereporttemp.com, where you are now reading this message.
We will continue to update this temporary site until Google Chrome removes their warning.
