Hochul announces raising over $11.8 million in the July 2025 filing period
Governor Kathy Hochul announced raising over $11.8 million in the July 2025 filing period.
The impressive raise includes more than $4 million to the Governor’s re-election campaign from more than 4,000 donors and more than $7 million to the New York State Democratic Party to build a strong Coordinated Campaign and defeat Republicans down ballot.
The campaign will end the period with $17.5M cash on hand with the party committees boasting a combined $8.8 million cash on hand.
The governor’s latest haul includes grassroots donations from all of New York’s 62 counties, with the majority of the campaign’s contributions coming from New York State — demonstrating the momentum and enthusiasm behind the governor after high-profile wins that make New York safer and more affordable. The July filing follows a series of “impressive” raises that “put Hochul in an early position to financially dominate anyone who dares challenge her.”
Statement from Friends for Kathy Hochul Campaign Manager Preston Elliott:
“In the last 6 months, Governor Kathy Hochul has seen grassroots support pour in from every single county in the state as she fights back against Donald Trump and delivers real progress toward a safer, more affordable New York. While D.C. Republicans rip away New Yorkers’ health care, our campaign is building an operation not just to re-elect Governor Hochul, but to take back the House and elect leaders who stand up for New York families instead of caving to Trump.”
