Hochul Raised Over $1.5M into New York State Democratic Party

Today, Governor Kathy Hochul announced that she has raised over $6 million from January through mid-July of this year. This powerful fundraising total includes over $4.5 million into Friends for Kathy Hochul and over $1.5 million for the New York State Democratic Party to rebuild party infrastructure and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Hochul reported $4.3 million cash on hand in her campaign account.

“I am grateful for the outpouring of support that we have received in our first full term as Governor. We are working hard to make New York a place where families are safe and secure, where small businesses and workers are protected, and where our children can grow and thrive. Clearly, we have overwhelming support for that vision,” said Governor Kathy Hochul.

Hochul continued, “Additionally, I am proud to invest over $1.5 million in the New York State Democratic Party as we build towards the most coordinated and sophisticated operation in state history. This essential investment is unprecedented and will kickstart that work, and will complement the great efforts of Senator Gillibrand and Leader Jeffries as we fight to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. And we’re just getting started.”

Notably, new fundraising limits are in effect in New York starting this election cycle. Hochul’s powerful fundraising total for her campaign committee keeps pace with previous gubernatorial filings in the same period post-election.
