GALLAGHER NAMED PRESIDENT OF MERCURY PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Mercury Public Affairs has named John Gallagher president of the firm. Gallagher joined Mercury in 2012 as a Managing Director and became a Partner in early 2017. Before Mercury, Gallagher spent 5 years as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Tishman Construction Company, which was sold to AECOM in 2010, and for Tishman Realty LP. Prior to Tishman, Gallagher served as a Press Secretary and Spokesman to New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. Gallagher also previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs for the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, which was charged with planning the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11, 2001.
