Actum Officially Opens Its New York City Office
Actum officially opened its New York City office on Wednesday with guest appearances from Mayor Eric Adams, Rev. Al Sharpton, and a host of movers and shakers in the Big Apple. The global consulting firm recently moved into its new space on the mezzanine level of 70 West 40th Street, where clients, elected officials, and staff took in the sleek, white-box space’s breathtaking view of Bryant Park.
Leading the night’s festivities were Actum’s Co-Chairs, former Rep. Tom Suozzi and former Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., alongside Partners Rachel Noerdlinger and Mike McKeon. Also present was Actum Partner Fabian Nunez, the former Speaker of the California State Assembly, who is based in Los Angeles.
Cocktails and appetizers were passed around as a who’s who of New York City leadership mingled. Among those spotted at the Midtown soiree included Rep. Greg Meeks, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright, Mayoral Chief of Staff Camille Joseph Varlack, New York City Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanaugh, and Transit Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez. Other guests included Cheryl McKissack Daniel, the CEO of McKissack & McKissack; Jennifer Jones Austin, CEO of the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies; and Gwen Carr, the mother of Eric Garner.
